geth는 go ethererum의 약자라고 한다. 현재 이더리움 엔진은 C++이나 Python 등 여러 언어로 개발되어 있는데, 그중 go언어로 개발된 geth가 가장 널리 사용되고 있다고 한다.

1. geth 설치

먼저 geth를 설치해보자. 설치는 다음 링크를 통해 할 수 있다. 자신의 운영체제에 맞는 것으로 다운받자.

2. 메인넷 네트워크 연결

  • 우선 CLI 명령어를 입력하기 위해 Windows PowerShell 로 이동합니다.

  • geth --datadir "users/packt/ethereum" --networkid 1

    • --datadir 은 블록제인을 저장할 경로를 지정하는데 사용됩니다.

3. 개인 네트워크 생성 - 계정 생성

  • ` geth account new `

    • # geth --datadir . account new 는 특정 경로를 지정하는데 사용됩니다.

4. 계정의 모든 목록 출력

  • 키는 기본적으로 --datadir 경로 내에 저장되며 --keystore 옵션을 사용해 다를 경로를 지정할 수 있습니다.
